Oh, this has been known for a long time. It isn't spyware. It isn't going back to the company with a record of your secret handshakes and browsing habits and past purchases. It is simply checking to see if you have the same serial number of Poser installed on more than one machine in a local network. Carolly
It's not sending info back to Cl its checking for duplicate copies of Poser runing the same serial number on a network. Its a network thing not an internet thing even though some firewalls may report it as such.

Since installing a firewall, I am alarmed to find that Poser 4 secretly attempts Internet access when loaded. I take a rather dim view of this sort of behaviour. Does anyone have more details?
