Dudley's '57 Chevy has a few problems ... 1. the gas tank is almost empty 2. the battery is almost dead (couldn't start the engine) 3. the left rear turn signal does not work 4. the radio is preset to ALL the wrong stations 5. the oil dip stick is slighly bent 6. the steering wheel has something sticky on it 7. the passenger's side door has a slight squeak 8. the dash has some burned out lamps 9. the speedometer has been tampered with ... and this is just a partial list ... A close inspection has revealed over 479 problems with this vehicle ... Other than that ... This is just about the BEST Poser model automobile I have ever seen! The attention to detail is phenominal !!! Thanks, Dudley, for an excellent job ! cheers, dr geep ;=] P.S. I replaced the battery and finally got it started. It was one of the BEST test drives I have ever had! ;=]

Bah! that's the treat with having old cars! You get to work on 'em! :) Great Job, Dudley... I'm glad you could get 'er out! :) (PS: I'd kill for a '63 Nova SS convertible grin... I used to own one in real life. ) /P

<6. the steering wheel has something sticky on it> FYI: Never show a car after eating a Burger at Carl's Junior. (If you've seen the ads you know what I'm talking about) ;) <2. the battery is almost dead (couldn't start the engine) 4. the radio is preset to ALL the wrong stations> I guess the battery was almost dead because I was listing to ALL the wrong stations with the ignition turned off. And you can't prove I tampered with the speedometer! ;)

Oh YEAH!!! If you look REAL close at the speedo pic inset ... ... there is a trace of a fingerprint on the ... ;=] BTW - Seriously, how long did it take to put that beauty together? I probably could've done it in, oh, well ..., um .... er, perhaps ... ...3 or 4 years, .............................. maybe. ;=]

Yeah, that car really is a beautiful piece of work. And it's got an interior too! How often do you see that for free?! Thanks again. :)

And for you hardcore GM purists lets not forget the AC Delco Battery. Oh yeah, that went bad didn't it? ;) Sorry, couldn't help joining in the humor.
