What do you get when you take 5 different primitives and replicate them 905 times? You get my March entry...I'm calling it the Bolo, series 200. I think this is the only Bryce 4, non-metaball entry (so far), It was a pain to texture and the colors came out a bit over saturated but, I hope you boys and girls dig it. Bryce 4.1, using Photoshop for the background blurring, and the signature. Agent Smith

This is a very nice model! Is it posable?

This is awsome! how long did it take to make?

AgentSmith ( ) posted Sat, 30 March 2002 at 11:02 AM

I made it "Bryce Posable", which means crude and basic in the 12 joints and it rotates on the big sphere. Took about 3 weeks off and on.

Making things posable not all too hard. If I can find it, I have a link somewhere to a tutorial on making things posable in Bryce. Besides, I only had to do one leg, then replicate said leg. There is a plain textured version of this render in my gallery, if you want to see the parts more clearly. Agent Smith

Yes, making objects 'Bryce posable' is not so hard. I'm using it to animate an alien for my latest animation, in wich one of my teachers (he gave geography 2 years ago, I've dropped the subject since then) meets an alien, it features a combination of humor and action. I'll let it know when it's finished and online.

GREAT WORK!!! This is incredible! I am impressed but I expected as much from you Agentsmith. I think the materials came out perfect! I would love to know how you did them! Very cool!

Very nice! I dig it! great job here Agent Smith =-)

The seven or so materials were actually just quickies I painted in Photoshop, came out better than I thought. Although This render is too over-saturated and a little too reflective, I'm still happy with it. Later I'll post up a little thread on what I used in Photoshop, it's fairly easy, actually doesn't require handpaiting, just the filters. Have to be later, I'm away right now on Easter weekend. Thanks for the comments, appreciate it! Agent Smith
