New here? Welcome aboard! Got the freebie Poser3 from the magazine, I'll bet? Just for future reference, you probably could have asked those questions all in one post with a subject line like: "Looking for sci-fi Poser3 characters." People here are pretty helpful. In answer to your (many) questions, did you try a search in the Freestuff area? Hang out and read the forums for a while and you'll get the hang of the way this place works. Good luck!

"Creature" is rather vague. What sort of creatures are you looking for? Animals? Monsters? The undead? Mutants? Aliens? Werewolves? Undead mutant alien werewolves?

Yes, broken links are the bane of Free Stuff contributions, especially the older stuff. It's practically a full-time job keeping up with what's still available. A lot of Ghost's works is at GreyLight, and it's all for Poser 3. Look through the Poser Archives section; he has poses, morphs, and characters for download, although several of the character links are broken (not all, though). He also has a character called Ben Willis (presumably from I Know What You Did Last Summer) at Fantasy 3D. ---- "Tomorrow on Jerry Springer, undead mutant alien werewolves, and the scientists who should have known better ...."

For future ref. any stand alone model made for Poser4 should work in Poser3. The only problem comes when the model is based on a mesh that was introduced with Poser4 like the horse, robots and I think there's a wolf in there? I'm using Poser3 myself and I've downloaded some really nice stuff for it! A fantastic T.rex (don't think that's available any more) a Velociraptor (In freestuff as Rapty), and a killer whale. I know there are plenty of other animals out ther too. You might try www.3dcafe.com They have masses of animals dinos etc but they're in all kinds of formats (3ds, Max, obj etc) I don't think many are posable and they're not perfect but they are free! All the animals that were included in Poser 4 were released by Zygote for Poser 3. They can still be bought individually from the DAZ web site (www.daz3d.com). Although if you're looking for a selection of them it would probably work out cheaper to buy the Poser 4 upgrade. -- Mark
