THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Found that link. It's a tutorial on ruinbird.com on how to make things posable within Bryce. I had referenced it to make my Bolo 200's leg and arm joints WAY more easy to move around and pose. (above pic). I'm working on tapping out instructions on how I went about making the (base) texture for my model in Photoshop. Since I have found it's now good to use as a template for making other dirty metal textures, it might make a usable reference for others. When I'm done I'll bundle it up with the texture itself for download. Agent Smith

Fantastic, Agent Smith. Thanks so much! And a very cool model and texture, too.

That's a simple one, just parent all your limbs instead of grouping. You can create the same inverse kinometric chains that you have in Poser. The only downside is the feet don't stick to the floor like they do in Poser.

Simple?...sure, to begin with. Parenting isn't complex on the surface...but it can get that way with more and more parts added. Texturing my robot was the real pain. I always lothed that feet sticking thing in Poser, never had a use for it, couldn't make figures look like they were running with their feet stuck to the ground.
