How do I drop the runtime into a mac? I am using poser4

First open the folder called Runtime and note the directory paths for all of the files that are inside that folder. Then copy those files to the corresponding directories inside the folder called Runtime that's inside your Poser folder. I hope I stated that clearly enough to be understood. I know it's sounds more confusing then it actually is. There's also a utility called MacInstaller or something like that but I have better luck copying the files manually. Good luck to you!

And make sure that, for example, if you have a folder inside Geometries that's called "Nerdstuff", you drag the entire folder into your Geometries. Don't just open Nerdstuff and drag those pieces in. The folders themselves are an important part of Poser's tracking what goes where, especially in the case of the obj files. The rest you can put pretty well anywhere as long as you direct poser to them, but the obj files must go in specific places to work.

Go get MartinC's Maconverter and Macinstaller. www.soft-rabbit.de/ They are absolute time savers. They are probably also relative time savers. :) After you learn how the folders work within Poser, you can reorganize them... but these two files alone do most of the internal work for you. Inaddition to conversion and placement, they do a certain amount of clean up and verification. (If you are trying to use a PC file which has been encoded so that you need another file, they will do the proper opening.
