Clay, Ken and I were working on this and wanted to get your feedback. It's still in the design stages, but we wanted to see what you all thought as it is your forum. I don't like the buttons, but maybe we can have a contest for them? Your thought please...

That is good Spike, Nice design. The button i find it so Bryce menu, i contest for design one would be very good i think. I would lower the menu and but the Rendosity Banner Full no vignette effect on it and more to the left. Love the challenge and faqs page. DenisG

Very clean design that's easy on the eyes. I agree with DenisG about lowering the menu. And with new buttons, it could take up less horizontal space, leaving more room for the content window. But instead of the full Rosity banner, how about exchanging the tree vignette to the Bryce forum banner? Especially if the buttons change, 'cause there's nothing there that specifically identifies it as such. If someone comes to the back room through a link, they might not come on into the forum. One very minor nit - maybe don't need so much space below the title of each page and before the content? And one to laugh at: under Challenges, is a "pervious" challenge winner a contraction for "perverted previous" winner? LOL!

Very nice and clean. I have to agree with the comments above as well. My only concern is do you have Bill Munns' okey-dokey to use his Pagoda? I'm sure he'd agree... but we all like to protect our copyrights.

Good point on the image. Should we also have a contest for a image as well?

If I may object to the use of frames. Impossible to bookmark, and the search engines also have quite a lot of troubles with them, or don't even include the site.

When we are done, you would just bookmark: http://www.renderosity.com/~bryce

That's fine, but what if I or anybody else wanted to bookmark a particular page inside the site? No luck. This way you force me to go all the way from the beginning every time I want to check something that interests me. Plus, enter Bryce "forest lighting" (without the asterisks) on Google, and you'll see what you'll get. Believe me, I know what I'm saying. The unfriendliness of frames has been quite widely discussed in various HTML forums and newsgroups.

We understand, But we want people to start from the main page anyway. See, we are hosting this back room for the members, so we want them to go there from the forum, not outside the site.
