I'm guessing since I don't know what the product is... since there's no OBJ file (assuming): 3DS may or may not have a texture and may be extremely large if imported into Poser PZ3 will have poser's environmental stuff (e.g., lights) and contain the geometry. Bring this into something you're already working on and your project will probably pick up what ever environmental stuff that was in the PZ3. PP2 will have the right proportions (as will a PZ3) and textures. It will also contain the geometry. You can place it right in the Prop library to use over and over. If I were to choose which one, I'd use the PP2.
3DS advantage- smaller file size disadvantage no UV mapping so all that can be changed is material colors & only reflection maps can be applied PZ3 advantage- all camera settings, lights, texture/bump/trans mapping is preserved disadvantage- file sizes can be prohibitive (read 'slow as death :-) on many machines pp2 advantage- texture/bump/trans mapping preserved on import disadvantage- without camera & light settings it can be frustrating trying to get the same 'look' you'll see in the authors thumbnails or presentation graphics

I just bought a product that provided a 3DS version, a PZ3 file and a pp2 file of the same thing. I'm just wondering, comparing the 3, what the advantages or disadvantages of each. Thanks in advance for any input.
