Subject: Cat Animation For Poser

I was wondering if their is anyone out their that has an animated cat in poser or the bvh file that I may use.... I am quite new to poser and I am really struggling to acoumplish this feat.

If anyone can help then please let me know, If no on can then please could you point me to the right direction

An animation file is available at Jackie Lewin's site, Stuff for Poser. Look in the Poses section.

Unfortunately, the site's link to the animation file doesn't work due to a typo (the .zip extension should be lowercase, rather than all-caps. Check here for the corrected link.

Credo Interactive (the maker of Life Forms Studio) sells a CD collection of 14 cat animations made specifically for Poser.

That's good to know, every so often, when I'm feeling really optimistic I get the Poser dog out and work on a walk. It started out as complete rubbish, but now.... it's just plain bad....! One day I dream of getting it to average.....

Get the book "Animals in Motion" by Eadweard Muybridge, available through Dover Publications. Muybridge was the original motion study guy. There are stepped photos of animal motions that are custom made for creating keyframes. Animal walks, runs, jumps, etc... All kinds of animals too. It's worth every penny for an animator.
