There are 150 marines in this pic that go to the right and offscreen (most of them are dead except for the five or six still standing). All in carrara with no post production, figures are straight from poser4

those streaks are the smoke particles, i set the frame to 16 (the highest point of the smoke) and used motion blur. i then rendered that one frame

a PentiumII 400 mhz, with 128 SDRAM and 14 gigs of free space. Used Carrara's reg Raytracer with nothing else running in thebackground and the smart sampling on. This damn SOB is ROCKET POWERED!
