Hi! I thought to become even more involved here, since I shop and post here and all... so thought to set up my "artist's page" and a personal gallery here... I started with the artist's page, and found your web ring information.. so I entered my site name and url...and then copied one of the newly generated html stuff...onto my index page.. I even took a copy of your main logo, made it smaller and put it on my page... but when I click on the "next site" or the next 15 sites, it bounces back here to the web ring page to sign up?? It will go to the previous site.. so I have no idea what I am doing wrong! could you please visit my index page, and see the web ring as I set it up on the bottom of my index page and tell me what's wrong? I saw no jpg to copy, so took what I figured was the "text version"... Also, important question... would my site be disqualified since I have refering links to my own on line store?? I have been on line with "Lyne's Creations" for YEARS and get a lot of traffic... I am well listed with search engines and I think this link ring could be mutually beneficial...? Sincerely, Lyne

Hi Lyne, Love your site - and thanks for all the goodies and links I've picked up over the last few months. I sure hope that Rosity won't disqualify you! I discovered the same thing when I signed up. Then I realized that I was bounced back here because I was, at that time, the last site in the ring, so there was no "next site" or "next 15 sites" to go to. HTH.

hello there... just a quick answer to the types of sites that don't qualify for the 'ring' TERMS AND CONDITIONS: You may post as many links to our site as you like, although we will only track the number of new members who join us after coming from your sites. You may submit any link for us to link back to, as long as the name of the link is not misleading, and it doesn't link to any sort of money making schemes, click brokering, link exchanges, and/or adult sites. This system is intended to share our traffic with our member's Artist Pages only. Your link may not appear on our site until after the first referred member joins up. You may periodically recieve an automated email from us if it is later detected you have removed the link to our website. You agree to accept these emails and not report them as SPAM for as long as you remain in this program. If we find you have deleted your link to us, we reserve the right to remove your sponsorship links on our site. People caught trying to abuse the system, or creating fraudulent accounts to boost their ranking will be banned. These terms are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to pull any link at any time.

In case this message thread gets lost, I am sending this to you, Audre by instant message too... I am sorry, but is our on line store a "any sort of money making scheme" ?? So many folks have on line stores... and my personal art reflects my store... if I should remove the web ring, please tell me.. this is not really clear... I wish someone here would visit my index page and just tell me if my joining your web ring is not allowed, with my index page set up... please? I can't believe that no one else has a link to their commercial products on art sites.. but I will certainly remove the web ring if it is not right to post... I truly want to abide by the rules, but I would like to join your web ring too... Thank you, Lyne http://www.lynescreations.com

Let 'er in, Audre, let 'er in! Glad I gave you a chuckle, Lyne. I certainly gave myself one when I had that "duh" moment after coming back here so many times in my search for the "next" site. I think the term "money making scheme" probably implies an illegal one, like pyramid schemes, and such. But I agree that it's not clear (and would be especially unclear for those for whom English is a second language) and should be more specifically spelled out. Sipa P.S. There are graphics to use with the link HTMLs. They're just a little above each line of code. A right click should do ya.

Hi Sipa, When I went to the page for the html.. there were NO pictures there... oh oh... wonder if it is my firewall?! Well, if I am allowed keep the ring up (I already have STATS... I referred 17 visitors!) I will find those graphics.. :)) Lyne

Huh. Well, assuming it's ok with Rosity, please feel free to snag the web ring jpeg that's at the bottom of the first page on my tiny site. It's http://www.geocities.com/anois57/index.html Congrats on all those referrals! You must get a lot of visitors at your site for 17 of 'em to use the web ring in such a short time. Sipa

just to make you guys relax... the intent of the money making sentance are those MLM 'in your face' pop up window abomination websites... a member's personal online store is just fine!

So it's official, then, Lyne. Let me be the first to welcome you to the web ring - LOL! Sipa
