I have been inspired by your excellent works and have started trying to model my own cars, a few questions though. Are you basing that on a blueprint? do you know of any easy tutorials on the subject? i tried modelling a '63 Shelby 350R but fount it raly hard to get a 3d look, i have a tutorial but it is real complicated and i am only a beginner. I followed the Tut exactly except when i got up to about the 5th step, my car looked nothing like it should have at that point, any comments?

You mean a 65 Shelby GT350R right? Mustangs were introduced April 17, 1964. Yes, actually started with a decal placement sheet scan and interpolated from photos and my actual cars. Usually just need some good pictures from side, front, back and top. What program are you using? As far as getting good results, practice, practice.....oh and more practice. Just try a simple low poly model with the correct outline shape and cut in and move verts from there.
