Well, I hope maybe at least one person will be able to see the vague resemblance. I must have started this 15 times and played and played until I wasn't sure what she was supposed to look like anymore. Funny thing, though, I found a photo of her online and she is wearing almost this exact outfit! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee comes CHER!

Okay, this one was a tough call, even more so than the last contest I threw. I really gotta go with Serpentis' Lisa Feuer image: elegantly done and exquisitely rendered. Sepentis, that thing floored me from the moment you posted it. Wow. But the work from everyone was great. Loved the Cher, bknoh -- although it really looked more like one of our local drag queens impersonating Cher, who I guess looks enough like a drag queen anyway, right? And Cinnamon, your Mariah was just goofy enough to reflect what we all know as someone who has no business with a Hollywood career. Then there's Tilandra. How she ever managed to get that shirt to conform to that dog escapes me -- I spent the better part of an evening trying to recreate it and finally threw my hands up in disgust. The rest -- the Ray Charles, the Rod Stewart, the David Bowie, all of them -- wonderful work, folks. If all of you would, send me your e-mail so I can send out a little something to everyone to thank them for entering. Serpentis, I'll let Dark Whisper know to expect a note from you. Thanks everyone -- and look for another contest in about two months.....

SQUEELS OH MY GOD!!!!!!! Thank you VirtualSite. I really had fun putting that image together. And I really have to thank Lisa Feuer, she is such an elegant woman to begin with. VirtualSite's right, everyone did a wonderful job. I really enjoyed seeing how everyone's images came together and brought a new depth to their favorite musicians. :)

Okay, if I tell you how I did it, will you promise not to get mad at me? :) I think a mini-tut might be beneficial to everybody. Tilandra

Yw! And thanks! Yeah it isn't. It took a lot of asking for help and looking through different morphs. Even editing it in ZBrush (not to mention postwork) to get my Bono render to look even a little like Bono.

Congrats, that is a great image. :)

That's the one I would have gone for, well done Serpentis.

Thanx Kentra and chohole. :) You honestly don't know how much the little comments and helpful hints have helped me over the past months. Everyone here has been so sweet and kind and very helpful with everything I've done. I think I've been glowing like the sun the past 24 hours LOL I know it's not much, but hey, it's the little things that count, rite. :)
