"The reason I ask, is because I recently got an e-mail from someone that went overlooked for 4 days due to the 200+ ebot messages I didn't want to wade through."
it sounds like you get annoyed with the ebot mails(I know I do thats why I turned them off), maybe turning off those would help. Other than that I dont think you can have 2 email addys for here...
Thanks for posting folks... it's worked out now. @Wadus: It's not so much annoyance at the ebots as the sheer volume of ebot spam I get. Some days, when I've been really active in the forums, I can get as many as 150 ebot messages that I can usually sum up by just checking on the threads upon which I've been very active. Also, it IS a bit of annoyance when I go on a net vacation ( meaning, the times when I get away from the net for a week or so ) and come back to find 700 - 800 messages waiting. It would be nice if there was a way to disable all ebot messages and re-enable later, but as I understand it, the coder's overworked as it is. Regards, Paul
heyas; you can also sort e-bot messages by subject. i expect you are using ebot for that 'email when somebody replies' to your thread. (there's easier ways to do that, you know, just use the mark all read thing, and visit often! but i digress....) well, the e-bot things about new messages probably have the same, or similar subjects, right? like 'new reply to blah blah blah.' okay, filter #1: if from=e-bot and subject contains 'new reply' then.... shove over there. e-bot sends notices on gallery comments (whether you want it to or not!) so, filter #2: if from=e-bot and subject contains 'gallery comment' then... shove over here. then there's e-bot stuff from the store. stick in there, blah blah blah, you get the idea. now all that's left is e-bot stuff that isn't from e-bot, it is somebody trying to send you email via the renderosity email thing. in that case, the subject is whatever the person put in, so those messages should fall through the filters and end up in your mailbox. email filters are your friends! :)

Is it possible to set two e-mail addresses somehow, so that I can receive my ebot messages at one account, and personal e-mails from members at a separate account? The reason I ask, is because I recently got an e-mail from someone that went overlooked for 4 days due to the 200+ ebot messages I didn't want to wade through. Not sure if it's possible, and I'm not too concerned, but if there is a way, please let me know. Regards, Paul
