do you mean making actual wrestlers or making your own, if your talking about actual wrestlers i can't help ya but try miyagawa's place, don't know if he has any tutorials but it's a good wrestling/poser site. If ya give me your e-mail address, i'll send you some poses that i've made, they're not much but they'll get ya started. Miyagawa's Site - http://www.primetimewrestling.net/miyagawa.co.uk//downloads.shtml E Wrestling Poser - http://ewposer.vr9.com Their ya go, good luck!

You guys got me interested in thinking about Poser figures and wrestling. So I turned to the links. But I could not find anything that I could make sense of!! No Poser figures, for example. There were buttons that suggested that they would show matches, but then they did not -- at most they had scripts and some other buttons that did not work. There was lots of esoteric jargon that I could not hope to understand, and no way to get a handle on that community for someone who needs to start from scratch. Could you suggest how to get on the merry-go-round? I would be interested in seeing what one can do, what is being done, with Poser figures and wrestling. It sounds like fun.

It is alot of fun. http://www.primetimewrestling.net That is a link to an efed that I was a member of. It's basically all written. Matches are written there isn't any actual animations or anything. The only poser images that are used generally are just an image of the wrestler. As a matter of fact I am a contestant in Poser Survivor which is basically a Survivor contest with the competitions being related to poser tasks. http://feds.primetimewrestling.net/posersurvivor After that contest ends, I plan on writting several tutorials covering as much as I have time to cover. hope this helps.

All written. Ahhhhhh. That explains a lot. I was wondering in fact how wrestling was possible with poser because it seemed that the meshes would very often blend in close, fast action. Thanks for setting me straight.

No problem, it would be a cool concept to do though. I looked through those sites and they helped a little. The thing I am really having trouble with are knee pads, conforming boots, realistic facil hair, and some elbow pads.

I finally took the time today to post four of my wrestling related free stuff. Two entrance props, a trashcan and a backstage prop all complete with textures. They are all in freestuff now. Soon I will release a more complex Wrestling pack with two full setups, ring, Hell in a Cell, Announce tables though that you will have to pay for if you want.

whitemexican, I was having trouble downloading those from your site, any suggestions?

whitemexican ( ) posted Wed, 17 April 2002 at 1:29 AM

It's a free site, it is possible that they may shut the site down daily if to much bandwidth passes. I know it's worked because I had people get them fine so I'm not sure what else it could be, sorry.
