Subject: Tailor and Vicki/Stephanie

I have a very interesting question that someone else may or may not have already posed. If Stephanie's OBJ and Vicki's OBJ are in the same /spots/, as they wear each other's clothes, doesn't that, thereby, mean that if you were bored enough, you could transfer all your Vicki2 morphs to Stephanie, making a Stephanie2? From my end, it's theoretically possible, but it would take a long arsed time. And, by that same theory, once you had Stephanie2, you could transfer the morphs to poor widdle Michael... Oh, the possibilities...!!!

No, unfortunately that's not possible to my knowledge, since Stephanie and Vicki aren't from the same mesh. HOWEVER Some Mike morphs do work on Stephanie rather well, the more extreme (and the genital ones of course) don't work. If you actually take a close look at the set up, Stephanie's chest comes down a LOT further than Vicki's does, causing her abdomin to be shorter as well. (I tried with the bellybutton morphs and my goodness they did NOT work)

It is possible for some body parts. :) I transferd a Vicky head morph to Steph. Because the default heads of Steph and Vicky are different the resulting Steph morph dosn't match the Vicky morph, but it was usable.

Oh really? MadYuri, did you use the Tailor or MorphManager to do that? (I'm assuming since the vortecies aren't correct you didn't just add a "regular" morph .obj file)

I used Tailor, with Steph as dress. Some days ago there was a thread about moving Vicky 2 muscle morphs to Posette, but I can't find it anymore. The forum search engine is substandard. ;P

yes it is, but serious? Vicki 2 morphs to POSETTE?! That's insane, cool, but insane what you can do with that program. I've had it since the week it came out, still have yet to actually figure out how the whole thing works LOL But I'm gettin there.

I am in the process of doing the full V2 to Steph. transfer now, 3 days into it and going strong. Some morphs do not transfer but most have so far.

Hrmm....I'm gonna have to figure The Tailor out. Had it for weeks now (since the week it came out LOL) and haven't had a WHOLE lot of time to play with it. But if it works...WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO kool

Ron's tutorial is really good, and it helped me solve a lot of my problems. If you have problems with learning how to start Tailor, check out his tutorial.

I've figured out how to START it lol, it's the "whole body morph" vs the regular morph that I'm having issues with...that and whether or not to do multiple morphs at once, or one at a time...Ahh, well, I downloaded the tutorial (wish I'd seen about it earlier LOL but I'm a scatter brained college student and yes, that's my excuse for everything)

Serpentis, do each morph set seperately. If you do more than one, I believe it will load it as all one morph, which could have some rather strange and/or bad results...

I picked up Ron's Tailor tut, unfortunately, I have the day from hell tomorrow (In class from like Noon till almost 9pm not including the 45 minute travel time one way) and am back in class at 9am on Wed (get out at 4 though, that's a good thing) Probably the earliest I'm gonna have a chance to look at anything is Wed nite/Thursday. But I'll give it another go around. Maybe it'll click with the tut in front of me. :)

Hrmm...me and light...don't get along well LOL (especially after being up 40+ hours....man is that NORMAL!? for a college student/Poser junkie/all around weird person?) Normally for me, I get something new, play with it, hate the results, toss it in a corner for a few months, dig it out and try again and that's when the preverbial lightbulb goes CLICK and everything snaps into place. That's what happened with both Poser and Bryce. I got them months and months ago from school (gotta love downsizing...the latest stuff, CHEAP cos they don't need/want it anymore and just want to get rid of it LOL) Played with it a while, put it away for damned close to 6 months before I dug it out and gave it a second go around and viola...it all clicked. Hopefully printing out your tutorial will give me a much needed smack in the back of the head (I know by the end I'll be like "WELL DUH, why didn't I think of that in the first place LOL" but hey...we can't know everything the first time we do it LOL
