Just a crazy thing I'm working on. The depth of field thing is not the greatest. I thought RDS had a much better one! -Kix

It looks like a thistle - very nice work. How did you do it?

Looks like Dandelion to me.

First I went and got a dendelion blossom out of my yard. Then I made one yellow petal, arranged them in rings and tweaked each one individually. The Dandelions have some other little structure in the blossom which I also added. The leaves are reasonably straight forward. I drew a general leaf shape in the spline modeler and made it VERY flat. Then I changed it to the vertex modeler and went to town on it with the magnet. Had to fool around to get the shader aceptable but leaves are beginning to be something I'm starting to get a rope around. I'm learning. With hind sight, I could have done the big leaves in the vertex modeler completely. I want to put a bee in the blossom but I have a spider already made up (it's on the cd by the way). Here's a blowup. I'm working on the bee now. I just wanted to post the flower ahead of time. -Kix

Thanks for letting me know this image was here Kix....awesome work and beautiful. The depth of field looks pretty good, but then again I don't use your software ;)
