for me (if i'm allowed to) no text :) at least not that way. don't want to sound so harsh. extrasmiley lemmesay; imo the style of the typo is not that bad for that img. try to experiment a little maybe it just has to be a little smaller... myabe be a bit more bold in placing the text . not just besides the figure (where u think it won't hurt at first sight), just a few thoughts... btw: nice work u've done here, nice photo esp. & model, editing is up its way... u'll make it with ps i'm sure!

Can I have it both ways?! I do like both, with the text works for me but I wonder what it would look like if the text flowed with the body or something like that, be nice to see some variations... Great texturing, the body blends just the right amount. I find the edges of the hair a little hard, maybe if it wasn't solid black & just blurred a tiny bit at the edges? It's a great image Michelle, I really like it, these are just some ideas, I'm not thinking so much better as different ideas.

Ohh...bev....like the idea of the text flowing along the body......I tried softening up the hair a bit....but wasn't having much luck with it...I'll try some more. Thanks for the ideas all of you. Right now I've got to finish cleaning my son room, which looks like a bomb hit it!

What's the dark section? I could be missing something. Bsteph

The dark section is simply nothing more than a pear from another photograph in a series I had taken. Photoshopped to death..so no your not missing anything.

I like the text. It gives the piece the look of a really fine album cover. And if "Everybody Else's Girl" isn't the name of a band, it should be.

PhrankPower ( ) posted Tue, 16 April 2002 at 5:47 PM

Well, I like the text too. And also all the textures. Like Alpha and Bev, the only thing I saw that didn't seem right is the hair. Maybe some detail and/or added texture would blend it into the feel of the picture. A little softer on the edge too. Beautiful and imaginative work Michelle!

Ok...now I'm seeing the way this image has developed! This is good but your final image is better, it all fits together so smoothly whereas here, the vertical text jarred a bit with the sensual curve of your back, in my opinion. :-)>

Mmm, this is the good stuff, Michelle! I like it a lot! :-)

I have one request, though... can I see a version without that dark part on the lower right? I dunno. Just a quirk of mine I have with high key images heheh...

Taltos-- actually there is a song by Tori Amos that contains this lyric

she is everybody else's girl
maybe one day she'll be her own

'Chelle, 'Chelle - I LOVE this - I mean love it - the texture is great, the only thing I might agree on is the hair - but I don't think the hair itself needs texture, I think maybe soften the edges and maybe pale it down so the black isn't quite so intense. Definately soften the edges tho. Text is brilliant - guess a lot of blokes can sympathise with that, even if their girls are pretty. speaking of pretty girls, is that your body you baring? If so, very nice. (I mean that in the nicest way, not lecherous at all. Just in case you thought I was that type of guy. lol. time to shut up.) (",)

I saw that final version where text is bit edited. And lemme tell you, its really good and it works like hammer. everything works, that red you added is really nice detail. AND, that is you there? Wow, quite a body you have, really pleasure to watch. And thanks for posting this pic, I know, its hard to give photos from nekkid self to public, brave woman. .n

@star....yup...that's the song, love that particular cd from Tori Amos, so angst filled. And that song was the inspiration for this image. @Jordy & Nico.....ummmmm....yeah that's me. I don't have anyone to model for me....so I'm stuck with myself. It's very hard to show these images.....but I take a deep breath and post anyway. Doing these sort of images has given me a way to work thru the weird shit that goes on inside my head. And the music I listen to helps too. Thanks everyone...
