This was in response to a challenge on the other forum...The challenge was to create a famous person in Poser with Morphs... I've never done that before and thought it would be fun to see if I could do it... I'd like to know if anyone can guess who this is...I want to see how well I did with this challenge.. Critique not wanted ....I'm finished with this sucker!!! No back trackin' for me... I'll reveal the true identity in the gallery.. I not only would like to know who you think she is, but why, if you care to say... I want to know if my morphing gave it away or something else... I used about 30+ Morphs.. I didn't really count.. I used Morphs to make the eyes large and sad, the nose propionate and long.. The face slim and squared off at the chin and THANK Gawd for the *smirk Morph* for this person has a crooked smile...=.. Rendered in Poser 4/ a little touch up in PS w/filters noise & glare Morphs by Traveler Hair is Renapd's transparent BETA hair w/blonder hue Dress Texture by Kristin with a red hue Nude Woman texture by Tlaubach, untouched other than the little noise I gave the skin in Photoshop... Choker & Earrings by Anton I know the pose is kinda stiff but this lady was known for her stiff formal posing, so I made it that way.... Don't worry if your wrong ... I think she looks as I pictured so I'm satisfied....I only spent a day, and half a night doing it... I didn't use a photograph or anything but I did go to a web site with a few pictures to check my progress... I'm curious if anyone else see this person like I do... ~Cindy

Hmmm, just guessing here grin. Lady Spencer? (Or Princess Di if you prefer) Paul

Chris ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 7:48 AM

Hi Cindy, she looks like Princess Diana (right?). Very good work you have done. It will be great when you post her. Chris

I'd have to say Princess Diana too. And it's not one thing that gave it away but every little detail that you paid attention too. I could swear I've seen pics of her posing lke that, the choker is definitely characteristic and so is the dress. But of course, none of this would matter if you hadn't come so close in the face. A really great job!

Really great job--has to be Princess Diana. Diane B

Wow! This is a most impressive likeness. Nice work. Marybeth

Legume ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 10:22 AM

I recognize it! It's David Bowie, right? I'd know that dress anywhere!

Byte Me Ok ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 3:03 PM

Actually it was a toss up between the Pope and Mother Teresa but the Pope is a little too chunky and there isn't enough wrinkle morphs for Mother Teresa.. That's not a cut on Mother Teresa, she was a beautiful person... My inspiration came from Renapd's trans hair.. I thought it looked so Diana... Also Kristin's strapless dress couldn't have come at a better time (that is so Diana too)...Yep, it's Diana, the Princess of Wales.. And the reason I asked if it was the morphs or anything else in the pic that brought you to your conclusions was because the background pic is Buckingham Palace's Green Room.. I personally wouldn't know Buckingham palace if it bit me one arse...=)~ ... Oh and Legume the more I look at the more it does look like David Bowie in drag.. hehehe... Well, that's too bad, as they say in the Tire business "It's on the rim and out the door!" Thank you all for responding and your comments...It has inspired me to morph more ..Try saying that 10 times.. It's like sculpting and rather fun.... =) ~Cindy

Are you going to post the figure? It would be nice to have a touch of royalty wandering through my poser files. And now for something completely different, I wished that spell check would work for these posts. I seem to spend a lot of time looking up words. Like: "the, a, of, and...."

Byte Me Ok ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 3:56 PM

Butch I should of thought of that but I didn't save her, just the image... If I had worked on this longer I probably would of saved the figure (with the morphs) just to remind me how hard I worked.. This really was a test of to see if I could do it and Diana is a sensitive subject for some.. If your talking about my spelling well it sucks, so does my grammer and typing.. I'm doomed..=) I started this thread around 7 a.m. "my time" and was a bit groggy so that didn't help either.. lol ~Cindy

Butch ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 4:03 PM

Actually, I was talking about my spelling. I have two dictionaries beside me at ALL TIMES! I am always so nervous that some one is going to pick up that I can't spell worth a damn. Which is odd considering how much I read and what my reading level is. Welcome to BSA, or better known as BAD SPELLERS ANONYMOUS. :} ....and the only way that I can use a Dictionary to start with the first entry of the letter the word starts with and read through till I find the word... talk about a bad speller.

Byte Me Ok ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 5:31 PM

Butch I'm proud to join you in the BSA, I too am an avid reader ... Just goes to show why I don't write for a living ... hahaha ~Cindy

Butch ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 5:32 PM

I would like to write for a living... I have a lot of really good stories, or at least I think so... Getting them on paper is the problem.... Even spell check can't figure out what I am trying to spell most of the time. Of course if everyone just spelled like I do, then there wouldn't be a problem...Heh heh.

Butch ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 5:37 PM

A question of how did you load the morphs on top of themselves, and do you have a list of the morphs that you used or might have used? Maybe we should have a Near and Famous Gallery here too...Hmmm, Personalities of the Past, Present, or your favorite, Character from Media.

Rorschach ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 6:49 PM

I know...I know...she isn't Lady Di, she's her ghost. But, shouldn't she be transparent? :)

Byte Me Ok ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 7:01 PM

Yes I loaded them right on top of each other...I used quit a bit of morphs on her.. More than I ever have on a charactor.. I'm not much into building charactors but I do tweak once in awhile....I'll try to remember all of them and get back with you, Butch.. I think the only default morph I used was a little of the square jaw on the default P4 woman.. It was sorta annoying to get her perfectly right (dead front) only to slide her around and see another person totally... I now know why I never took this challenge before...lol I admire those who have the patience and know how to create charctors of real people.. You can get in touch with me at BYTEME0K@aol.com .. That's a zero in 0K, not an O (in my e-mail address) Just write me if you want me to try and compile a list for you, I'll do my best... =) ~Cindy

Byte Me Ok ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 7:05 PM

Rorschach, funny you should say that.. I did entertain putting wings on her but thought that might offend some or be a bit corny...lol Besides, not sure where she is really... yikes..

Darth_Logice ( ) posted Wed, 26 January 2000 at 11:55 PM

Great Great Great job...but I'm kinda glad you didn't save her...I mean, do we really want to see the late princess frolicking in the adult gallery? Darth "Trying real hard not to render porn with the Sarah Michelle Gellar Figure" Logice

Byte Me Ok ( ) posted Thu, 27 January 2000 at 7:48 AM

I didn't think about that and glad you mentioned it, Darth.. No, I doubt I'd want to see Diana doin' the big ugly with someone in the adult gallery or gagged and tagged.. hahaha...

Rorschach ( ) posted Thu, 27 January 2000 at 3:22 PM

Byte, that thought sends shivers down my spine...and I mean the worng ones! But Mother Teresa...nah, forget it...
