By the way, Propsguild has a banjo in its collection, so if you're a subscriber, it's worth a look.
It would take me a few days to round some up and scan them in, Bikermouse. But I don't think they would do you any good. You couldn't accruately model one without measurements, and a LOT of them. A 5-string banjo is an extreamly complex object. For example; the clamshell tailpiece, the shape of the neck, or the exact placement of the frets. I know, I play one. :) Gibson Instrument Company might have exploded drafts with detailed measurements/dimensions. A quick internet search would give you more images than I could. Do a search on "Banjo Gibson" and you'll see. ;)

Cal has a good banfo at his site. Either in free DLs or on his inexpensive CD. Look in the R'osity Gallery under "Don" to see several image examples.no I haven't forgotten about the banjo, however after investing about 10 hours modelling time I decided it was time to contact Gibson & obtain the necessary permissions to duplicate their RB3 model in 3D. I emailed them in April, May, & again last week & still haven't received an answer. So rather than leave the project on hold indefinetly I'm planning to release the banjo as a standard, generic, flat top model. If I ever do hear from Gibson & do obtain permission to duplicate their design I'll make the necessary modifications & re-release it at some future date.
thanks again cooler, I didn't think you had forgotten but had gotten very busy, and I didn't want to bug you. Several years ago I emailed Gibson about my RB-250 and never heard from them either. shrugs I do hope they answer you. cheers
