Hi! As I'm a newbie I'm looking for some help... I would like to know if it is possible to make transparent body hair. I know how to make transparent pubichair, hair on the head, lashes, and eyebrows. But I saw one picture at renderotica.com that was nice. The artist had made transparent hair on the arms, legs, chest and stomach. It looked very very beautiful! I have added the link to his picture. FYI: it was located in the gay section x-rated...: http://www.renderotica.com/portal/modules.php?op=modload&name=Gallery&file=index&do=showpic&pid=330&gallname=X-Gay Is it possible to make the hair real everywhere on the body? Also beard? I have tried the make a transparency map for the beard and added it as a transparency map in material editor but it didn't work :( I have Daz's Michael 2.0... Hope someone can help me... Thanx. Rune www.angelfire.com/ego/republicofrkm

For something like that, the hair was likely painted onto the rendered image in postwork.

It is possible to create the illusion of body hair in Poser itself, but the transparency map is not applied to the character's body, because then you could see through the body. Rather, it's applied to a prop or conforming figure attached to the body.

For an example of how this might work, study some of the transmapped pubic hair props in Free Stuff, at this and other sites.

Oh, and Anton has an impressive transmapped beard for Michael over at DAZ.

It's possible with hair "clothes" for them to wear. Same thing as female stocking using transmap on catsuit.
