Subject: Violence Tags in galleries

we have them for forum posts, we should have them for gallery posts as well. A few images Pnevai in the photo gallery now that would fall under that. I personally think they're fantastic imagery, but Im sure some would disagree. Worth considering.

An option to filter out violent images in the galleries has been needed for some time. I've suggested it before, but the suggestion was never even replied to by the admins. So, yes, I agree. I'm not bothered by nudity, but would greatly appreciate the option to filter out some of the more violent images shown here.

I've been suggesting a mature tag for awhile. It is a good idea. Just as a fyi- the reason things like that are delayed right now is not because of administrative apathy at all. It's because we are in the process of hiring a new programmer. Our poor fellow is chained to the computer, working 24/7 with bread and water breaks... well, it's not quite that bad, but close. ;] As soon as there is another person, many of these things on the "to do" list will be able to be addressed.

Micheleh, I don't think a 'mature' tag works, if it means combining nudity and violence. I'm in favour of 'nudity' and 'violence' tags remaining separate. Some of the violent images in galleries have upset me whilst none of the nudes ever have. I'd prefer to be able to make a properly informed choice before I view.

Good distinction. Maybe we should just add a "volence" tag, then. What do you think?
