For anyone interested, a muscle texture for Mike is now at the DAZ store.

I saw it there earlier at DAZ, but it's gone now. Although it seems a bit pricey for just a texture, I'm sure you spent a long time on it, and I'll very likely buy it myself. I'm surprized you didn't go the extra yard and make a variation for Stephanie - after all, it's just fatty tissue in the pectorial area, and it would double the appeal. A variation with actual text labels on individual muscles would make an educational add-on as well. It looks like an excellent job, and as I say, the quality will likely sell it despite the price. ... now if I can only find a human skin texture for the Michael catsuit....:-)

How odd! - I just clicked back to DAZ's newest products page, the Muscle texture is still missing. Clicked on my shopping cart, and found it was still in there from clicking on it earlier, along with Jim Burton's Gorgeous Las Vegas Hair, which along twith the Muscle Tex & the Hun pak I saw earlier, has also disappeared from the New Product page. Went ahead and purchased the Muscle Tex & the LV Hair, and they seem to have downloaded perfectly. Wierd, but I guess they're doing some maint & mods at the DAZ site. (I'm tempted to play with the Tex for a Hellraiser-esque flayed spirit pic or two, but I imagine there'll be a few of those in the Galleries within a few days:-))

Not sure why it was in the store then removed. It seems they put the previous store page back up, because all of the new products are missing. Probably a technical problem. I'm sorry you feel the texture is pricey, but there is a lot of time involved in creating a texture of this nature. Just to get the muscle and their striations to align along the seams was a nightmare.

To answer your question:

"I'm surprized you didn't go the extra yard and make a variation for Stephanie - after all, it's just fatty tissue in the pectorial area, and it would double the appeal."

My original thought was to include a texture for Stephanie but the geometry doesn't align in areas such as the lower back. It appears some geometry was shifted to allow for the differences between the male and female form. If there is enough interest in this product, I'll create a texture for Stephanie and Vicki.

Please post the "Hellraiser-esque flayed spirit pic" when you have it finished. You have me curious since I never thought of it being used that way. I'm always pleasantly surprised with what the imaginations here create.

Hope this answers your questions. Feel free to ask more.

Tim

With the 30% off, the price is really reasonable at $24.46. I hope your sales go really well. I'm really pleased I got it.

Thanks for the kind words. Can't wait to see how it's used.
