One: Do you guys know where there are free Frontpage 2000 plug-ins? Two: How do i make an animated GIF and view it? I prefer the viewer/maker device to be free. Thanks guys! Three: How do i join the Torus Webring?

1: Don't know :( 2: You need an animated gif maker, try www.nonags.com for a freeware one. 3: http://www.egforum.com/morphworld/torus.html

Can't help you with #1 or 3, but as far as #2 goes, there are some free gif animators out there. A couple of years ago I download a program called GIF Construction Set (32-bit)by Alchemy Mindworks Inc. It's a pretty good little program and real easy to use. At the time it was a shareware program but I'm not sure if it is anymore, but I'm sure it would be easy to find out. One more thing, check out CNET's sites shareware.com and dowload.com, they have a multimedia and design sections with free stuff and trial versions. I'm sure you will be able to find something there. Hope this helps. Autoloader

Actually I think FrontPage has a GIF animator on the CD. Not sure about FrontPage 2K, but FrontPage 98 does. I used it quite a bit. You could try doing a search at Microsoft's website. Or check ZDNet.com

Nicknoel, where is it. the documentation sucks with FP2000. whats the folder called (there is something about it on the back of the box but i can;'t find it on the cd)

I think it was an option when you install it. I already had it installed when I got it and I made sure I just left it out. It was when I installed the Image Composer program I belive. But it was also in a folder with a standalone exe and help and gid folder. Try running the setup programs, maybe it's just buried in there. It's not a really sophisticated program, but it does the job and it is FREE! You already paid for it. If you can't find it, maybe I'll just zip up the exe and such and e-mail it to you. They used to have it on thier site and I think ZDNet.com had it too. Hope this helps

Please send it cause it doesn't seem to have it!

nicknoel ( ) posted Sun, 30 January 2000 at 5:38 PM

I'll send it tonight after a chat I have to host. It'll be good sized download, probably a couple of Megs. But I'll see if I can get rid of the extraneous stuff, the sample gif images and such. Could be less, dunno. Check your e-mail around 7:00 or so. Nick
