Subject: Where can I download BVH files?

I think the subject says it all. I don't want them for any specific purpose, just want play around and get the hang of using them.

Hello, Well there is quite a few BVH files on the Poser 3 cd under the "Cool stuff in here" directory. Also a free BVH download for Poser at House of Moves site. Look under Sample data. You could also search for "Biovision" on Yahoo or AltaVista. They might have a few free ones for download. Serpent

Sorry it took so long to answer Serpent, I've been having a few machine problems lately. Thanks for the tips, though the BVHs at house of moves looked a little weird when I tried them out. The woman walking looked like she was doing an impersonation of a crab. Just got the walk designer tutorial from freestuff, it looks might I might finally learn to do what I can't download.

Hello, That's because you imported the BVH into Poser on the wrong axis. Some go in in "X" and some go in in "Z". Try reimporting one and select the other axis. Hope this helps. Serpent

I will try that just as soon as I get time to download them. I haven't even had time to look at poser for a while. Most of my files were lost. Beware VNETBIOS.VXD! (and don't bother sking miscrosoft for the patch, they,ve got one but won't let you have it).

I just opened a new section on my site with BVH files, Goto Chemical Studios on the sidebar, Only 3 files up so far, but more to come. FastTraxx

My free BVH motion page will soon be up and running. Look out for baby, couples, dancing, skating and swimming. My sister also suggested tennis. It should be ready in a week or so. NK

I happen to know of a company that offers custom motion capture for as little as $2.00 a movement.
