i made a texture map for the micheal character and when i apply it to him he will not render. whats my problem?

be careful to separate Skin boby texture and Skin face texture ... You should join a snapshot of your try ...

If the texture is showing okay in the Document Window (Ctrl-9) it should also render okay. Check under the "Render/Render Options" Menu that "Use texture maps" is checked.

And you need the object colour to be pure white for correct application of the maps too.
