Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 30 8:14 pm)
Hi guitarzan and welcome here. I'm not sure that the "best" video cards are the best for Vue. I have a "some years old" Nvidea Riva TNT 64 and open GL works great. Since Vue 4 is out, I heared alot about different GeForce cards and many users complained that they don't work with Vue. I cannot tell you more about it, just my own experience. :-)Guitta
Personal experience : Vue worked well with OpenGL and GeForce only after I switched to windows 2000. If you have XP, that should work too.

I recently transferred Vue from a Win98se box with an Asus Geforce (1) card to a Win2KPro box with a Gainward Geforce 3 card. Vue 4 worked fine with both but I did *not* use the manufacturer's drivers supplied with the cards. Always download the latest drivers from the nVidia site and you should get full OpenGL support in Vue. Happy rendering, MarkThis site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Hi, this is my fist post here. I have a GeForce2 MX video card that does not fully support open GL, so i am stuck in wireframe mode. I am going to upgrade to a better Video card soon and i wanted to be sure that it will be fully compatable w/ Vue4. So I was hoping that I could get a little feedback to see what kind of card everyone has, and if you can use open GL or not. Thanks
