Sorry for you all, but Varian just discovered that there were 2 other (quite new) entrances in Mikes's thread from last month when he begun the challenge. I had no look back and have not seen them. I have to learn. Also I hope you all will forgive me, if I cancel the "old" vote. Please go back once more to the challenge page, have a look to the new images and vote again. The new votes are accepted here. You will have 1 more day to do so. Vote will stop on monday 28 at 3 a.m New York time (9 a.m GMT) Thanks to all and to Varian for telling and helping me. Guitta

Well, as I said before they are all wonderful and trying to pick a winner for this one was really hard.....they all have such flare...but my choice is kruzr, I just love the way everything is placed....Sharen

Rynn ( ) posted Fri, 26 April 2002 at 1:39 PM

I find it so difficult to choose because there are several images that are very good. But since I have to make a choice I'll go with Muddy soccerball by scotttucker3d. Rynn

YL ( ) posted Fri, 26 April 2002 at 2:59 PM

My vote is for Scotttucker3D, even if I like the other pics! Yves

Varian ( ) posted Fri, 26 April 2002 at 3:55 PM

What a great bunch of grimey, gritty, sticky, slimy images - ROFL! Everyone did a great job! I gotta vote for Yves (YL) because that slug is just way too real; I don't want to find it in my salad! :)

Myske ( ) posted Fri, 26 April 2002 at 4:06 PM

Im glad that you are able to make mistakes.. just as we . so no sorry needed.I have to learn Vue and you some other stuff ;)) My vote stay with the " End of a long hike" regards Myske

nightvoice

NightVoice ( ) posted Fri, 26 April 2002 at 5:33 PM

While the two new ones are indeed very good I still will have to stick with that cool Soccerball. :)

Well it certainly was a tough call. I kept clicking on one, then another and another and kept going back and forth. You all sure didn't make it easy to decide. :)

jstro ( ) posted Fri, 26 April 2002 at 6:12 PM

So, if we voted in the other thread, should we vote, not vote, or re-confirm our previous votes in this thread since there are now two other entries to consider? I stick with the End of a Hike by sittingblue, by the way. But don't count me twice! jon

It was a very tough choice - but I really like nightvoice's truck. Everybody did really great work. So many different intrepretations of muddy, sticky, yeechy - very cool! His truck totally sells me on the concept of muddy and the image tells a story. Sorry - I had already posted at the other place before you told me not to post - same vote as before - the nightvoice muddy pickup. Scott

sittingblue ( ) posted Fri, 26 April 2002 at 10:00 PM

I vote for Alla's Knight.

Charles

tradivoro ( ) posted Sat, 27 April 2002 at 12:37 AM

I still vote for scott tuckers... I thought that it was a realistic rendition of mud and grass stains...

I vote for NightVoice. Sorry for not entering this time around. I've been hitting some other projects pretty hard lately. Rich

kruzr ( ) posted Sat, 27 April 2002 at 9:06 AM

Well, I'll say it again, all the entries are great & the decision is a hard one, but I'll vote for "MS Outlaw", his slimy & stinky image is great. . . . Mark.

Um ... I hate to say this but we seem to have missed another entry - I noticed that there's a link to another entry in that thread which I hadn't seen: "Mousson" by pmermino. It's in the gallery (link attached). It's now an even more sticky (ahem) choice but if it's in the running I think I'm changing my vote to pmernino's. If it's not in the vote I'll stick to my original vote and go with Nightvoice. (I never knew I had such a thing for muddy trucks...) As ever, all the entries were superb this month. K.

Lyne ( ) posted Sat, 27 April 2002 at 3:59 PM

OH dear, when I clicked on the new lower left one, I got sent to the blue scary face one.. and when I clicked on that it has not link... and now above I see that there is another missing one... I THINK I would still vote for The Knight.... but not sure what will happen now... Can understand how complicated it is to find all the entries and compile them.. this is my first time to even vote... Lyne

Kattleprod, I cannot find this image in the forumpages. Mike had collected all pages before he left on April 23. If an image is shown in the gallery but not in the Forum, I cannot know. This one were posted on March 31. I only started to do that when Mike left. Lyne, all the images on the challenge pages have a link, I just have tried. The 2 last images are in the same (very old) thread, I had to give the address of the thread, because acheron has not put his image in the gallery. You are right, it is complicated to find all the images when you do it for the first time. I will try to be better next time:-). Guitta

gebe ( ) posted Sat, 27 April 2002 at 5:21 PM

Ok, Kattleprod, found it. I have a friendly contact with Pnermino and will write a private message to him. Guitta

Kattleprod ( ) posted Sat, 27 April 2002 at 6:32 PM

Guitta - I don't envy you the task of collating all these images - perhaps we need to implement some system where the entrants email a designated mod to enter or something? Or perhaps have a dedicated thread for entries? Seems a bit unfair to put all the responsibility on the mod in charge to track down every vague reference to a challenge entry....

Ms_Outlaw ( ) posted Sat, 27 April 2002 at 6:54 PM

I agree with Kattle. We have to make this easier for those taking care of it. Eventually they'll get tired of doing it. I'd hate to see these challenges end. I don't enter every one, but I enjoy them all very much.

Jilly ( ) posted Sat, 27 April 2002 at 7:24 PM

Nightvoice still

pmermino ( ) posted Sat, 27 April 2002 at 7:31 PM

Hello, No problem. I will wait for the next challenge theme, and this time will post my entry in a new thread.... Thank you Guitta for your work and all your beautiful pictures cheers Patrick
