And be judged! In the citadel, my brand spankin' new project at www.beyondent.com. This bad boy is jam-packed with a ton of props, hi-res textures, mat pose files, and more. The above scene was rendered totally in Poser 4 with 3 lights and no postwork other than the flames on the torches and lightstand. If your are interested in seeing more, please visit www.beyondbent.com to see more. Comments are welcome and encouraged as usual, Davo ps, sorry for low-res image, I needed to compress it so our poor friends on dial-up can take a look

That enormous cauldron reminds me of a scene from Conan the Barbarian, where Arnold gate-crashes a party held by Thulsa Doom. Fantastic level of detail, Davo!

Unfair! You need some spraddle-legged men in there, too.

looks promising ...

I SO want to see Steph in the cauldron. (No offense, Steffy dear, it'll be bath temperature, quite comfortable... okay, you can have rosewater...)

Davo...u have outdone youself!!! Stunning creation!

You need some spraddle-legged men in there, too. Nah. The less Vicks and Stephs in the world, the better. :) Davo, gorgeous work, but there's something about it that doesn't quite sit right -- maybe the frequency of the texture? Whatever it is, it gives the environment the look of a toy model, not a fully-scaled room. The skull on the altar platform is particularly disorienting: it looks like an amusing souvenir one found at the beach and put on display, not the icon of a ruthless and bloodthirsty diety. Maybe if the textures were more homogenous somehow, the scale might be better addressed? I don't know. It just looks like it misses just a bit somewhere.

Actually this reminds me a lot of Doom..... Message671410.jpgloads up his BFG Axe.

On my way. Where's my handbasket? Nice work Davo.

cool! :) i think it's much too brightly-lit for a hellish scene; maybe that's it? but at least you can see everything clearly. (er, except where the censors went in with their magic pixellating brushes.) hmmm... if you squint, the one on the left does kinda look like mike. ;D

Is this a members-only club? How can I join?

Amazing I didn't think you could make it any better than it was but you've really done it, my soul is ready for the journey :)

Check out the Product Showcase Forum, this is extremely high res. Nowhere as flat as this very compressed jpeg. Quite a movie set. Emily

Yea, well same to you, Davo! :) Seriously, though - this looks fantastic! I can't wait to get my hands on it is the price. At $60US, it'll cost me around $80-90. Wish it wasn't so expensive. On the other hand, the price isn't so bad when you realize how much you're getting for your money. Looking forward to getting my hands on it eventually.
