Subject: how do i make a desktop image transparent? or poser transparent

I want to use it as a guide, maybe on a uv mapped plane in Poser , to line up the eyes nose etc?

I'm not sure what you want to do or what app you want to do it in...

Since this is the photoshop forum, if you are planing to do something in PS like making a texure map you can take the image you want to use to line up with and set the "blend" mode to MULTIPLY. This will allow the layers under it to show through...

Expand a little on what you want to accomplish and i hope i can help.
