Subject: Change figure name in doc windows

Greetings. Could some kind soul tell me how to change a figure name that appears in the doc windows. It would be so much easier to use a more discriptive name than figure1 figure2 and such

Select the body of the figure then go Ctrl I and rename it .......I presume its Command I for the mac ?.......Steve

Select the body of the figure. Menu object... Properties... In the Figure properties window, type the name you want instead Figure n That's all...

And the 3rd way to do this is to open the Hierarchy window, click on "Figure 1" and over-type with the name of your choosing :) Paul
