Well, another one of my beginners questions: I used the hierarchy window and dropped a prop into the "folder" of a character. How do I get the prop out of the character ? I can drag&drop the prop onto another character, but I cant get the prop without a host... Thanks again!

just highlite the object then goto "Object" and click "Change Parent" just click ok... don't choose a parent. in the heirarchy window you could move the parent to the universe and do the same thing. after you unparent it. while it is still highlighted, save it in your library. if the prop is not an object, but a figure the parenting will be in the figure menu. but either way moving the item in question should work if you parent to the universe via the drag and drop. from the heirarchy menu. if it is a figure save it in figures when it is highlighted. now after all this if you want the picture in your library to only show the object and not the rest of the universe in question then you can close poser and restart. bring in the object and save it and you will now get a new picture in your library that shows only the object. hope this helps and is intelligible.
