Um, Humorix, you've really made this difficult for me. :-) Anybody has an idea how to create the screw blur in Bryce? I could create it in Photoshop, post-render, but the rules disallow it. And, of course, all the critique is welcome.

You'd get a great tutorial on doing blurred propellers at http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Haven/2470/propstut.html. Check it out to see if it helps! In case you still have probs, do drop me a note and let's see how we can circumvent the problem! :-) Great model BTW! Though think the bar between the wings cld b a bit more thinner! ;-)

Try to make a semi-tansparent cilynder instead of the screw. I like your wheels! I think you should change the textures of the wings (my opinion). Keep on with the good work!

Yeah I wouldn't use an actual prop, I'd use an illusion of a moving prop maybe with a flattened cylinder and cloud texture or something like that.

thanks for the info. Objections: the proportions of struts are more or less lifted from real planes' photos. They had stronger struts on front wings. the wing texture will go. I thought to put something that looks like textile, but ...

Just wanted to say that the tutorial Humorix posted worked like a charm for a blurred propeller. Thanks again.

Well, couldn't resist, so you've got it here. :-)

Changed the wing texture, put some other things and put a pilot.

But it's far from a finished image.
