Kiera ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 7:26 AM

6.79 GB. =)

Styxx ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 7:45 AM

Mine is clawing its way into the kitchen

Papu ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 8:30 AM

1,78 GB after extensive spring cleaning...!

eirian ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 9:13 AM

Slightly less than 10 Gig. Definitely time I cleaned it out!

LadyJaiven ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 9:19 AM

LOL wow, mine is relatively small!

Eowyn ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 9:20 AM

5.86 here But I've removed everything I don't need such as all the P4 folks, most poses, and I don't have many character files because I like creating my own characters - if I buy a character I only install the textures :)

judith ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 9:20 AM

A hefty 13.2G here. blinks 13.2?!! I just cleaned it out about a month ago!

I recently cleaned it up. Now its only 3.97 GB.

Valandar ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 9:49 AM

2.6 gig, after finally getting a bigger HD. ^_^ Hey, it used to be only a measly 1.7 gb! On a 2 gb HD...

FishNose ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 10:21 AM

8 gig, growing FAST Total Poser space, including everything, is about 40 gig (!) On several different partitions/harddisks. :] FishNose

pendarian ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 10:33 AM

Mine is 13.9 gigs....and it's still hungry LOL!! Pendy

FyreSpiryt ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 10:45 AM

Mine's only 1.39 Gig. I usually don't install freebies until I need them for something, which helps.

lgrant ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 10:47 AM

4.3 gig here

hmatienzo ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 10:48 AM

I measly 5 gigs something...

Ouch...9.2GB...

VirtualSite ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 11:06 AM

Less than a meg, but I switch off RTs between jobs. Makes it easier to keep things organized.

Axe_Gaijin ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 11:21 AM

5.5 Gig. Desparatly need a new PC :) Still have about 500Mb unzipped/uninstalled files too, but only 450Mb left on my HD hehe... need to clean up after I get a new comp.... Axe.

ElectricAardvark ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 11:52 AM

2.14gig...I remove alot of what I don't use after every project. ~EA

chohole ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 12:02 PM

Seems like I am not too bad with 4.8gig, but thats without textures, which I keep on a separate partition.

rain ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 12:07 PM

8.80G and I've been removing tons of stuff. And I have a whole stack of CDs with stuff I burnt for Poser. I think I have a lot more house cleaning to do

casamerica ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 12:51 PM

9.62 gig and expecting. ;-) Take care and be well. casamerica

KateTheShrew ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 12:57 PM

I have no clue how big my runtime folder is cuz I don't have time to sit here and add up the size of every little subfolder in there.

LadyJaiven ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 1:05 PM

All you have to do is right click on your Runtime folder, Kate... Do you think we all added up sizes ?....

lgrant ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 1:06 PM

Kate... In Win2K, at least, you can right-click on the folder name in Windows Explorer, select "properties", and it will tell you the size of the folder and its subfolders. Hope this helps. Lynn

PhilC ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 1:22 PM

2.32 Gb

When one only has a 6 Gb hard drive one gets into the habit of backing up to CD all unwanted files. I've just ordered a new computer with 120 Gb capacity. It will be like moving out of an apartment into a mansion. I only hope that I retain my current discipline.

Hiram ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 1:25 PM

Just under a gig. But I only have a 4 gig hard drive.

lalverson ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 1:43 PM

21.6 GB in the active runtime folder. we will not talk about the offline folder except to say it is larger than the active runtime folder.

pendarian ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 1:44 PM

Yep, that's all I had to do with W2k...otherwise I wouldn't have participated in this thread, as I don't have that kind of time either. Pendy

pendarian ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 1:47 PM

Oh geez Lee, I think you might be a bigger pack rat then me LOL!!! Now, this does not include the horrendous amount of stuff that I have that I haven't had a chance to unzip and install LOL!!! Deb

judith ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 1:48 PM

I just KNEW Lee was going to post to this thread with some totally enormous number. LOL!!!

I'll throw my 1.56 gigs in, though I did just recently clean stuff out. I don't remember what it was before, but it was nowhere close to what some of you folks have. Several hundred megs of this stuff are custom textures, however, so that may be throwing it a little bit.

Traveler ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 2:15 PM

Mine is a lean mean 9.1 Gigs. However at it's worst it was something like 20 gigs.... If I installed everything I have (gotta think, 4 years of freestuff) it could be as high as 40, LOL Man that is just wrong.

Crescent ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 2:43 PM

Only 3.45Gb. That doesn't sound right. I did some spring cleaning, but even so ...

Chailynne ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 3:09 PM

7.4 gigs here. I desperately need to clean it out and reorganize the whole mess. But then it's on a 75 gig hd and it's pretty much alone except for the other huge downloaded folders of 3d stuff.

Tashar59 ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 3:15 PM

Just 1.49Gb. Very small compared to most of you. I still have unneed fills to remove, no point in keeping things I'm not using.

creativechaos ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 3:20 PM

7.2 gigs, after EXTENSIVE cleaning and reorganizing.

somewhere in 8 gig range

Netherworks ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 3:48 PM

3.58 GB... Looks pretty conservative compared to some numbers listed here :) I just optimized a lot of the .jpgs in the textures folder - that helped a lot. I also tend to zip up things I'm not using.

.

DocMatter ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 4:09 PM

About 9 GB here...but I just bought an additional disk drive and moved it all over there by its lonesome. 😁

JetM ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 4:25 PM

4.64, which puts me in the mid-range, I guess.

EdW ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 4:43 PM

13.1GB for PPP and I don't want to know how much I have on the other drive with just Poser 4.... I'm afraid to look Ed

Puntomaus ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 5:05 PM

7,66 GB and still growing :-) But I cleaned out a bit lately.

pendarian ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 5:29 PM

Wowie, sounds like we all need to do some reorganizing LOL!! I know that there is stuff that I no longer use...somewhere...I just KNOW it.. I agree with you Trav, it's just WRONG. LOL!!!!! Pendy

scifiguy ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 6:04 PM

10.4 GB. Out of curiosity I checked the textures folder alone...4.6 GB.

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 6:15 PM

Currently, 3.08GB.

I have a number of old animation files, videos, and props created for others in there, taking up space. I'm a firm proponent of incremental saves; I can easily have 15 versions of a single file before I'm finished. My most recent animation project ended up with 23 PZ3 files, due to my endless tinkering with the cameras.

When I throw the junk out, I'll probably be back down to 850MB or so. I "clean house" every two months.

LadyJaiven ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 6:44 PM

My laptop has a capacity of 5.98GB and I only have 430MB left lol, how sad... Over half of this is in my runtime folder. I have a lot that isn't installed and I would haaaaate to see how much they would add. I deleted all my characters that I don't use such as the default Poser / Pro Pack models, hands, hair, etc :)

igohigh ( ) posted Sat, 04 May 2002 at 6:46 PM

8.72Gig and 3.6 of that is BUM files (bummer!)
