Hi everyone, Im a poser-newbie, and I have NO IDEA how to get clothing on poser-figs! When I try to apply them, the whoel figure vanishes, or the clothes go right through the figure. How do I have to do this? And what about downloaded clothes? thanx, marinke

To add clothing you need to select the double tick icon. The single tick icon will replace the figure with the clothing. Hope this helps. Cheers Ian

As Ian says. For conformable clothing, you'll probably see the model poking through the clothing. Right after you add the clothing model, make sure it is selected (it should be by default, but you might click on some part of the first figure by accident) and choose 'conform' from the 'figure' menu. The clothing should snap right into place. Once you have clothes you've downloaded into the right places in your Runtime folder, the process is the same. Some things, like hats or jewellery, might be props rather than conforming figures. If they're 'smart props', they'll stick onto the figure where they're supposed to be and move with the figure. Some you might have to parent to the figure: this is under 'figure' /'set figure parent', I think. You might have a look at some of the tutorials on this site (click the 'Tutorials' link in the main title bar). Lots of truly excellent people have written great beginning level tutorials to help you out wher ethe manual leaves a little (or a lot) to be desired. Have fun!

Are you using Poser 3 or Poser 4?
