I can't wait to check this out when I get home from work. This is how I thought 3d modelling should have always been. I saw the example images and they are ok. I wonder how much detail you can give to a sketch, and to save to .obj format is great. Have you tried it Guitta? Can you make highly detailed obj's with it or just basic models?
As it is presently just a test program, I think you have to save often if you do something elaborate, because it is very buggy. I believe it could for complicated objects. It is very interesting especially for basical objects, as you can bend and dig it. If you download the free "chameleon" with it, you can paint your objects in 3d real time. Both works great together, chameleon only shows some basic colors, but you can get 16 Millions colors in double-clicking in the brush icon. Anyhow an interesting program, I just discovered it and have only played a little with it. Guitta
Hi Guitta . . . 8^) I downloaded this program yesterday, after reading your post. I've played with it several times, & I find it very interesting. The problem I've found with it, is when you complete what your modeling then export or save it, import it into another program, like ZBrush to fine tune it, the polygons are kinda not behaving very well. I'd like to send an e-mail to the developer & ask him if he plans on further development. I think it has a great potential for creating 3D models. Anyway, thanks a lot for the information & the link, & you have a good one . . . Mark. ;^)

I discovered a very simple program. It's for free, its buggy, but it does great things. And it saves as obj:-). There is a tutorial and an avi file to show you how it works. Go to the link above and get it:-) Guitta
