Hi Everyone, Although the inital scene was rendered in Vue, most of the image was completed in Painter7. Just wanted to share with you all...... :)Im currently in the process of learning how to use the different brushes in Painter7. I like to do a lot of blending with my colors and just wanted objects to paint on. I didnt want to take the time to draw a still life scene, so I decided to create a scene in Vue dEsprit4 without color and complete in Painter. I arranged my objects, and applied a flat gray material to everything in the scene. (See image above) I rendered the image and brought it into Painter. I applied all the coloring to the objects blending lights and darks as I went along. The flowers I did from scratch right in Painter. I posted the results in the Mixed Media Gallery. I worked with about a dozen different brush variants. It was a great exercise in color mixtures and using digital brushes to create traditional effects.
I spent about 5 evenings on this
John :)
