heyas; uvmapping.... well, think of a globe that shows the continents and oceans of planet earth. if you want a 2d map of the planet, you have to somehow smush that round, 3d globe flat, like a piece of paper. that's uvmapping. it makes a 2d map of your 3d object, so you can paint it. uvmapper is a free uvmapping application. you can download it at uvmapper.com.The UV Mapper is just TOOOOooOO much fun! I down-loaded the program over a year ago and thought it would be waaaaaaaay too hard to use. Last week I got up the nerve to try it out and was doing the Happy Happy Joy Joy Poser Template dance ever since :) Just download the program and open one of the poser .OBJ files and you will be amazed at what you see. Great way to create your own texture maps as it produces perfect texture templates. Hopefully you will be Poser Dancing real soon as well :) Good luck

Okay I have posted on here a few times and gotten good help so now im back with another question. What is UV mapping im trying to learn a tutorial and it tells me to open something in UV Mapping? Now is this part of the Poser Program or do i need to go get a program called UV Mapping? thanks chris
