hi ! I'm beginner with vue and i'd like to know how to create (or where to download) a cypress tree and an olive-tree . If you could help me it would be kind . (sorry for my bad english :P) Thanx for your help

Hi and welcome here, Here is a list of sites where you can find free stuff. I remember I had seen a cypress on 3Dcafe.com, but you might find it somewhere else also:-) Guitta

This site has several, but they are not free. Single model is $20, the whole CD is $170. Never used anything from them so can't say how they are or even what format they come in. jon

Of course, you can make your own too. Don't know if you folks have ever heard of Forester or not, but it is an extreamly cool program (along the lines of Terragen). But what is nice about Forester is that you can import 3d models to the scene (still can't do that in Terragen). What is even nicer about it is that if you register it (costs about $30) you can then download his Arboretum plug-in for free. Arboretum allows you to create any type of tree you can imagine, and you can then export them to .obj format for use in other programs (like Vue). Is is SOOOO cool. jon

Forester sounds terrific. Ideal. I'm interested. Now.... where is it? I've tried three different search engines -- no go! Your link doesn't work! ARGHHH!

I had trouble with the link too. This one should work, though. That looks like it's well worth the $35 registration fee just to get Arboretum! Rich
