Who is DD? Is that Dedicated Digital or somebody else? You got a link for that, maybe?

Thanks for the heads up, it does look a great model, just have to make a scene suitable for it now :)

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Mon, 13 May 2002 at 8:26 PM

Think they'll make the T-Rex or orangutan available again?

cooler ( ) posted Mon, 13 May 2002 at 9:39 PM

for those of you who missed them the 1st time around, (1999 IIRC), here is a list of Dedicated Digitals' past freebies... orangutan, german shepherd guide dog w/harness, steam locomotive, Stonehenge, the Moon, ladybug & leaf, female human heart, snow sled, Trex, Parthenon, Blue Whale, Panda, bunny rabbit, baby polar bear, 'grey' alien, and of course the tiger.

This model looks wonderful. But is anyone else having trouble downloading? Do I have to subscribe, or sign up for a mailing list? I hit the "Free Content" link and get the following message: "The script has responded with an error. The result is: bad referrer."

TygerCub ( ) posted Tue, 14 May 2002 at 5:22 AM

Damn... just got the same message for the e-mail contact too. Anyone know another way to contact them?

LeeEvans ( ) posted Tue, 14 May 2002 at 11:09 AM

cooler.. do you have a link for those other files? -Lee

cooler ( ) posted Tue, 14 May 2002 at 11:20 AM

Lee... Those models were originally distributed a couple of years ago & may be reprised by Dedicated Digital. I posted the list for reference purposes, primarily so that people who had originally downloaded them can see if they got them all & 'newbies' have something to look forward to :-)

Dedicated Digital does have the Animal Kingdon CD at 3D Cafe. The models are great, but the Poser versions need some work. It's $30 more than when I bought it last year, but if you have the time and the inclination to get everything working correctly........ It's on a few people's lists... mine included.... there just aren't enough hours in the day.

It's a very cool looking tiger.
