Subject: Just my curiosity

Sorry, this is not intended to be a criticism of anyone's work, but it's mere curiosity on my part. For quite some time now, I've seen some very unique shapes in the Poser Free Stuff by Pefo. I've seen that several people have downloaded them, but I'm not sure what they're for. They're interesting shapes, but as Poser props (PP2's) what are they used for? How do they relate to Poser? I hope I'm not insulting Pefo's work, but I just don't know for sure what they are. His site is all in French and I don't speak the language, so I can't read what they're used for. Thanks, Melanie ** continually asking dumb blonde questions ** :)

How can I texture the outside of Pefo's "Bouteille de Klein" without applying the same texture to the inside?

I think they're just intended to be primitives. Like the sphere and cube in Poser's props library, you can use them whenever a simple geometric shape is called for. Or you can slap one onto a pedestal and call it "Modern Art". :) Freakachu, I haven't downloaded Pefo's Klein bottle myself, but if it doesn't have separate materials for inside and outside, you can probably run the .obj through UVMapper.

I've downloaded several of them. Who knows when you need stuff for an alchemist's workbench? A mad scientist's laboratory? An alien thingy? A magical artifact? Several of them are beautiful just as they are, others are just begging for the right textures. Oh, and Freakachu, there is no inside to a Klein bottle, as I'm quite positive you know. Carolly

Thanks, everyone. It was just curiosity on my part. I guess you could make jewelry out of them. Earrings, maybe. I've just never seen Pefo here in the forum, but he/she contributes to the Free Stuff, and this inquiring mind wanted to know. Melanie
