Subject: how can i edit CR2 file?

Any text editor will do it, as long as it can handle large files.

Make sure you don't use a word processor - they tend to mess up the formating of the files (tabs vs. spaces). If you're on a PC try Wordpad and on a Mac, BBEdit light (freeware) works well. I haven't had time to explore all the features, but Dan Wilmes' CR2Edit at this link has automated all sorts of Poser file tasks.

If you do use a word processing program, just make sure you open and save as text only. I haven't done a huge amount of CR2 editing, but I haven't had a problem. I'm on a mac, and just drop the saved-as text file on macconverter, and that puts the Poser icon back on the file.

I use vim. See http://www.vim.org It is the UNIX vi editor which you can also also use on Windows.
