This is my most realistic chainmail texture yet. Looks great in closeup shots As always, can be easily adapted to non-millenium figures. Please give comments and feedback. Thanks.

That does look more realistic. Good job! I can't quite tell without a closer closeup, but is that the international pattern?

The guy flexing in the background was a nice touch. :)

Thanks. I don't know about "International" pattern, but it is a more modern one (by @200 years?). My previous chainmail was more like late ringmail/loose chain. This version is closer to what people think of as chain mail.

The international pattern (also known as 4-in-1) has each ring linked to four others. It's called "international" because most civilizations that utilized mail for protection eventually adopted this pattern.

Describing how the rings are arranged is rather difficult, so I'll provide a link (pun intended) as visual aid:

Yes that looks exactly like the pattern I used. I just used thicker links (^_^)

This is easily adapted for use with any cahracter. When I have more time, I might make mat poses for P4s for all my armor textures.

Hey, not trying to gripe, but the texture on the main part of the body needs to be rotated 90 deg. left or right. when they are arranged the way you see it in the pic, the shirt gets pretty stiff. (yes I used to be one of those idiots who made the stuff then beat the hell out of each other in mock battles) Way cool texture though and if it isn't too close you really can't tell. I tried makeing one myself but got tired of trying to match up the picture I scanned.
