This is the occasion to announce the release of P3dO 1.5.4 beta next saturday. I would prefer that only P3dO fans get that release there is some unfinished stuff in it:

• The Folder View doesn't refresh when a folder is removed, renamed, copied ;((
• The Alpha preview is not available in the picture editor ;((
• The ZipExplorer Zip/Unzip stuff is not available ;((
• The Del key bug has not yet been fixed ;((
• The .rsr crash has not yet been fixed ;((

but there's also some new goodies (see picture above):

• an enhanced preview window ;))
• Zip through thumbnailing - awsome ;))
• A new bug fixed folder view ;))
• A locate file function with wildcard support - very usefull ;))
• XP look ;))
• A setup ;))
• AWK context menu with Cut/Copy/Delete and Info panel resize ;))

... other people can wait the 1.5.4 official release - at SENO only 2 weeks later. 1.5.5 is coming short afterwards with mainly a complete Zip Explorer Zip/Unzip capabilities.

Due to many things to do on the new web site 1.5.4 remains freeware. Sales will begin with 1.5.5 in june.

Cool another update

Yep smerc, it has been a long time since the previous one. Half because I was lazy, half because of technical problems. Leather, the price is 25 Euros. This is not a launching price but a fixed one for the whole 2002 year. I think it will be enough to pay for the web site, advertising and software development. 1.5.4/1.5.5 are mainly Zip Explorer oriented versions, I think we'll have a great one in September with 1.6 because we will be 2 working on P3dO this summer.

Yarp, What is the price in US Dollars? Will you have an easy way for US residents to buy this? Ron

Hi Ron, In US Dollars this is about 23$. The price is only available in Euros not in Dollars this means the buyer has to support the bank conversion. I guess this will do in all about 25$. SENO Software - me ;)) - can't afford to offer a price in Dollar - but has the will to - for I already have to pay the online store and Taxes for European buyers and so haven't much money left. I plan to open a US store - located in the US - next year and so I'll be able to offer Dollar billing too, but for this I need that some of you American folks make a little sacrifice and pay with the European currency, sorry ;)) ...Just because opening a second store is interesting provided P3dO sells a little, this year is a test period.

And about an easy way to pay, no problemo. The online store is made by me - a cheap store - but the payment is made via a normal bank secure payment. This is a standard online store, exactly the same you could find here: 1/ You fill an online form at SENO 2/ SENO redirects you to the bank 3/ You pay there 4/ The bank tells me you paid 5/ You get the registration key by mail This is really a professional solution just that I did the store myself - old habits you know ;))
