Subject: Question about challenge

I just noticed that our triptych challenge is more of a multiplych challenge... "Your triptych entry can be three or more panels. " That mean we can post an image with as many images in it if we want? Seems strange, but I'm just asking...

One entry that consists of three of more panels.

so why is it called triptych, especially if it's supposed to be based on "By definition, a triptych is a work of art in three pieces." I dunno, just realized it now, but it seems kinda odd is all... Course, if I make something with like 10 dif images in it, it'll look like crud anyways most likely, too much imagery going on distracting the viewer. Me thinks I'll keep my triptych entry.

I agree with Slynky with respect to the voting. While I often like to add a lot of stuff into my images. Either I really screw it up or/and ( because it's probably both ) the current voting here seems to regard the simplier images higher. IE. Less is more. Just a thought. Bsteph

I agree that the voting does seem to be fairly conservative but I really like it when people share more experimental & creative approaches to the contest here in the forum. I can learn a lot from that & it puts more emphasis on the fun of taking part for me.
