Hawkin-Z has a nice one in the MarketPlace.I think there used to be one in the Free Stuff, called "Lytha's Light Sword", or something. It was quite some time ago, though, so the link may be dead. :(

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking. He apologizes for this. He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.
Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

For the Star Wars poster that I created, I used light sabers that I found in the Free Stuff at 3-D Commune- there is a package of "Luke's" and "Ben's" (blue and green version) and an item of Darth Maul's red, double-bladed version. These props are very easy to use and, using Photoshop, you can re-colorize the blade to get Mace Windu's purple blade! (However, I was not able to find the artist's name in the readme file.) --John

You're right.. the movie was awesome!! I even wrote a review about it :)Meanwhile, I'm going to save my pennies. Lucas killed his franchise when he became a toymaker, and I see no reason to pay 10 bucks to watch a commercial. Besides, I don't like any of the characters. A freed slave becomes a spoiled brat and takes down the universe because he can't marry a queen who spends all her time in wardrobe? Ho-hum. Luke and Han and Leia were LIKEABLE characters, so we cheered them on (the auditorium spontaneously erupted with applause when they entered hyperspace). Technical achievements do not compensate for a bad plot. Carolly
I thought it was ... neat. But that's about as high as it gets... It's hard to rate a star wars movie in a vacuum but the acting and writing was abyssmal. Lucas should never be allowed near a pen again. The worst were Anakins actor and natalie portman which is odd since both are very fine actors. The special effects, of course, blew me away.. and I liked the movie in general. But me, and most everyone else at the theatre last night seemed to walk out with a "eh" feeling. Just my $.02 Anz
Well...my son mighta loved it...but for me, like I said before....I loved the original Star Wars, but it was out there then....after watching The Matrix, Terminator2, etc...the SW stuffs starts to look dated. ....if these weren't living on the Star Wars name, they'd just be another Starship Troopers. Me, I'm waiting for Indiana Jones 4...:) Beav Oh yeah.....YEA SPIDEY!!!!
Beav, Your son has the makings of a fine film critic... "coughed up better things than Episode One"... looks over at the hairball in the doorway... yup... a discerning critic... flat, no firm plotline, an abundance of middy-chondria, objectionable if not quite tasteless, oh and did I mention flat? ;p I was sitting with a colleague in the hospital this evening, and the friend who relieved me had just come back from the movie. She said that the action scenes brought some cheers, but there were audible groans every time the main characters got mushy, which was too often. Lucas may have missed his audience, again. Carolly
I'm off to see it tomorrow with my oldest son, he's star wars mad like me, who's old enough to remember to remember when the first film came out, I was always obiwan when my brother wanted to have a lightsaber fight, I'm tempted to buy 3 sabers 1 each for my kids and me, I'll have the double ended one that darth maul used (-: 34 and still a kid at heart. Rob
you are NOT a simpleton Ron
you went see a Science fiction movie
You Did not go to have your life changed
That is why the movie did not upset you
I'll go see it but I am not a Star Wars Fan (but I love Spiderman, hehe), but I do like R2-D2 and Yoda. I heard Yoda does a awesome lightsaber scene, can you imagine "little Yoda" had all that power all this time :) A lot of my friends said Hayden was a stiff actor, but that could be their personal opinions. :P I don't think many people cared too much about the romance story, they mostly wanted to see action and special effects, and a good plot. Is Amidala suppose to be 5-6 years older then Anakin in this story?? The whole continuity is off. I think Lucas is drawing stuff out of the hat. I mean more people were interested in Yoda, J. Fett, Obi-Wan, and Mace (?), not the main characters. But who knows.
I was 6 years old in 1977 when the original hit the screens. I was completely enthralled and the moment I got home, I remember recreating X-wing vs. Tie Fighter scenes on the sidewalk with sticks and twigs. That being said, I just saw Episode 2 this afternoon, and I can honestly say: "This was my FAVORITE of ANY of the Star Wars movies." I liked it even better than "Empire Strikes Back". That is quite a mouthful. During the Yoda fight scene, I might as well have been that 6 six year old in 1977. I was sitting there, mouth agape, about ready to leap from my seat as Yoda flipped and spun! One other thing worth noting: I was very disappointed in Episode 1. It was easily my least favorite in the series. Jar Jar Binks made me want to vomit.
I was around 16 when I held the first comic that told Spider-man's story. Was it Amazing Adventures?! It featured the Fantastic Four I believe! In the past 40 or so years, all my favorite comic heroes have either changed, died, been killed or all the above. I wouldn't be surprised if the Spider-Man movie shows many differences from my treasured memories. *** I was about 27 when the first Star Wars movie came out. I've always seen Star Wars on an emotional rather than technical level. I don't remember much about the hardware.. I always love the special effects. I love the drama. I remember seeing the apparent rivalry between Han Solo and Luke over Princess Leia (spelling?). I remember some disappointment in discovering that Luke and Leia were brother and sister. Oh, yes, that helped their friendship because Luke and Han were no longer rivals. *** I've loved all the Star Wars movies I've seen. I may see the current one this weekend. The wife is away.
