It's very good but is her head just a little small or is it just me? Maybe tweak the head scale and see what happens. -Darth "Just Me" Logice

The composition is good. The lighting's good too. My only compaint is: the scene appears just a little too clean to look realistic. It's a subtle touch, but, I think it would help tremedously.

Very good image. My only suggestion would be to change the texture of the wall. It looks a bit too much like cinder-block. Castles, I think, would have a bit rougher look to them. The way it is right now, it looks like it could be someone's basement. Good work so far, looking forward to the final version. Good luck!

I agree with Voodoo. The wall needs to be rougher, the blocks irregular. Many of the castle walls were done by hand and tools so they were very rough not smooth like that. other than that it's great.. but where did you get the cool boots? Storm

I've got to agree with Storm and Allie, the blocks are too modern-looking. Some of the castles here in the UK are built of rough blocks of irregular shape. These are the older (12th century) castles. More recent castles (15th and 16th century) used dressed-blocks, but even they varied in size since it was all done by hand. And the spacing between the blocks (where the mortar went) wasn't so even. Otherwise (with one minor gripe) that is an excellent picture. The lighting and composition are nicely balanced, and the figure is superb. (And where did you get those boots?) The other gripe? The same as Allie's: Don't balance a sword on it's tip Paul

Thanks everyone for your idea's I have already started the changes that sword is off the floor i did not like it there anywaychanged the wall texture. Darth I think its the bangs and the hair that make the head look small

viper ( ) posted Tue, 08 February 2000 at 7:15 AM

SewerRat the boots are from zygotes costume cd

arcady ( ) posted Tue, 08 February 2000 at 11:04 AM

Ok. To me this head looks perfect scale. So... what scale is it? What do I need to change to get this scale? The head to what value that is. And would we want to touch the neck as well? Is the tunic also from Zygote's CD? The composition is great but one wonders where our heroine got her Japanese polearm and Arabian scimitar from. :)

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

heyas; she's a worldwide collector, arcady ;) i would tighten up her grip on the sword. maybe its the angle, but the way it looks now, she appears to be holding something very light, rather loosely. it doesnt convince me that the sword has any weight.

viper ( ) posted Tue, 08 February 2000 at 5:16 PM

the tunic is a new release from zygote 9.95 for a male and female tunic the only changing i did to teh head is with morph targets and changeing the x-scale to 99 instead of 100 thanks bloodsong had grip will be change on the final render

Sangelia ( ) posted Wed, 09 February 2000 at 5:38 PM

also the grip on the sword is of the hammer type. the proper way to hold a sword is along the lifeline. i know this from the time my sensei taught me on how to do sword fighting.
