hey people....been taking lotsa shots with fuji superia film lately cuz I love how vivid the colors come out in it, but anyhoo, took this the other day around my apartment, critique always welcome....minor blurring in photoshop and an extra yellow layer which I multiplied and lowered to 35% opacity...

I do like the rich colors. [Just told Michelle in chat room that I ordered some Fuji Realia (100). See how that goes. I tend to like the Fuji HG better than Kodak Gold. Have a hard time keeping the names straight...]

I would have used a higher angle and been a bit closer. The selective focus is right and color very deep. Get a larger patch of yellow flower to contrast with the deep green

@billglaw - I had the pic at a higher angle, but somehow the top came out quite dark and I didnt understand that, so I cropped off about an inch or two..... @misha - yeah so far I like the fuji superia better then the kodak max in some categories...gonna go venture off into different fuji's now though...see how those work... @mich - you just kick ass...

I really like the angle, the dof & the colour, less is definitely more in this for me.

...there's something with the big flower in right. Dunno does it need more space to the right or what. But it just unbalances the pic a bit. And top flower in left side does not seem to fit too... See, those can be taken off and pic still looks good.(ok, now there are too much space in lower right, but you got the point.) .n

@niko - I agree with the flower to the left, it was kinda bothering me too, but was contemplating if I should take if off or not....well, you're right it does look better now that its a goner.....like bev said less is good..now its even better...thanks for the help dood....
