Even with six weeks, I didn't have time to do everything I wanted to. Too... many... projects!

It's just a straight terrain; I knew where I wanted it positioned, so I didn't worry about symmetricality.

Just like the real thing! Great POV! I can feel the action. You used the premium-effects perfectly. The DOF even boosts the sense of motion. The objects are placed just perfect. The others will have to come up with a really good last-minute entry to not make me vote for you! I just love this image. And I think the choise of making the blade with a terrain instead of a lattice adds a sense of motion too. If you look closely to the reflection of the blade in the glass you can see the hollow side of the blade blurrs perfectly and actually looks a little like motion-blurred.
