What were these idiots at Eovia thinking anyway? Bones? Bah! Photon mapping? Useless!! New modeler? Jee-zus, and they say they want to stay in business!! Are they listening at all? Never mind what this P.O.S. WILL do, let's see what it won't do; 1.Eovia totally missed the boat when it did not give Carrara the abilty to make breakfast and bring it to my bed. 2.Eovia also obviously didn't feel like it was an oversight when they left out the all-important car-washing feature that is so prevalent in many of today's top-of-the-line 3D packages. 3.Full-body massages, Yep that's right, as far as the boys at Eovia are concerned, FBMs don't even exist. Since I left Carrara a month ago for the greener pastures of Lightwave I have become a new and much improved man. High prices, higher system requirements and a mind-numbingly intricate interface have built more character in me than I can express. Eovia is the Apple Computer of 3D programs. Ease of use, power under the hood, an interface that just screams that the engineers were actually considering that real humans were actually going use it. Bah!!! I say again. What kind of challenge is that? Carrara is a sissy-boy app!! My God, it's almost like they made it for a bunch of artists or something. At least Apple made their computers expensive.

Oh yeah? Well...yeah.

WHAT!!! No FBMs! Now you've really put me off buying it. (Shakes head and grumbles...)

Not to mention the automated brain wave decoder device!! It automatically zaps all of your ideas from neurons to pixels in minutes.... Talk about about a life saver!! Eovia needs to get up on the latest 3d research..... :)

Now wait a minute! While it's true that Carrara 2 doesn't do any of those things, it does raise the dead and end hunger. To me, that's worth $150 upgrade. Of course, I'm holding out for Poser 5, which will do all of that and bring peace to the world, as well. BTW, inside scoop: you can definitely expect full-body massages in Carrara 3. But you didn't hear that from me, ok?

And if my memory is correct, Antoine Clappier promised us a full, physically correct universe generation feature some time ago ... Where is it ??? Huh ??? >:(
